  • The existing gender imbalances at macro and micro levels have a significant impact on society.

  • Giving a chance to all genders is economically significant as it results beneficial to society as a whole. Eliminating gender disparity at all levels in jobs and wages can have a sustained positive impact on economic growth. Incorporating gender perspective in trade policy and implementation will reduce the widening gap in job placements.

  • Minimum 40% of women with equal wages and working conditions in total employment.

  • Improved working conditions, Accessible technical & Skill training, Insurance & health benefits, accessible childcare services, Equal wages.

  • The fundamental rights like fairness, dignity, respect and equality and freedom should comply in the working conditions.

  • Prohibition of forced labour / bonded labour, non-discrimination at work, protection in the workplace, hazardous or unsafe working conditions, harsh or inhumane treatment.

  • By the ILO convention C39 (1930) The Forced Labour Convention, C105 (1957) Abolition of Forced Labour Convention, C190 (2019) Violence & Harassment Conventions, any form of racial, social, religious discrimination, abuse and sexual harassment, forced labour extraction will have a consequence of penalty and criminal conviction. These frameworks promote healthier and mutual growth in the business.

  • We can integrate differently-abled people by acknowledging and incorporating them into employment. By enhancing employment opportunities for them, even in micro-level will increase awareness amongst society. The pro-active initiation by everyone will ensure that differently-abled to be incorporated in all government and private sector employment schemes. People with special needs can perform all jobs by providing the right environment and conditions. Several studies across all countries state that they experience significantly lower employment in this sector which may lead to poverty. .

  • The United Nations, Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) under Article 27 states that "Recognises the right of persons with disabilities to work, on an equal basis with others, this includes the opportunity to gain a living by work freely chosen or accepted in a labour market and work environment that is open, inclusive and accessible to persons with disabilities". It also prohibits all forms of discrimination and prejudice, promotes training, among other benefits to encourage the employment of differently-abled. .

  • Minimum 2% of differently-abled with appropriate supportive conditions in the employment. .

  • The product should be supplied and traded with human rights and standards. But the laws in many countries do not always hold the same rules. In many states, child labour is an accepted reality with unfavourable working conditions and even slavery.

  • By offering realistic solutions such as refraining under-age employment will not only help in terms of trade but also a chance for the children to get an education.

  • The United Nations General Assembly, Status of the Convention on the Rights of the Child reports states that over 200 million children work in unfavourable conditions which violate the child labour standards.

  • International Labour Organization, a specialised agency for the United Nations, created checkpoints for Eliminating and Preventing Child Labour.

  • Currently, the retailers and buyers were concerned about whether their goods produced by enforcement of child labour. By improving international compliance with human rights and supporting ethical trade labelling, we can combat against child labour.

  • Anyone under the age of 18 should not be hired for employment.

  • Countries which are the insufficiently developed economy are permitted Lightwork from the 13 years. Participation in decent work which does not affect health, education and personal development can be a positive experience, and millions of young workers between 14 – 18 are in employment around the world.

  • There is a massive demand for and utilisation and consumerism, which increases production scale and adversely affects the environment.

  • The primary focus of the environmental policy by governments is to minimise the environmental impact caused by businesses.

  • The protection and preservation of the environment and sustainable development are the fundamental goals of WTO. It contributes by ensuring the above targets through its rules and enforcement through WTO bodies. The WHO estimates that around 90% of the total population breathes polluted air.

  • As humans, we are responsible for promoting economic development and also sustainable development. To achieve this, we need to channel our energy and focus in an environmentally accountable direction. The effects caused by environmental pollution will not be borne only the creators but affects society as a whole.

  • The regulated norms, compliance and policies for the relevant industry imposed by the country.

  • Examples – Wastage management, effluent treatment, minimising the use of chemicals, Green energy/ renewed energy transition.

  • For the past few decades, the management of cultural and religious diversity has become a central narrative as there is a high rise in global displacement and immigration.

  • With diversified globalisation and migration, we have minority groups in our society. Businesses need talent workers belongs to diverse communities. By adapting and embracing multicultural intergroups, we can utilise the talents and reinvent ourselves with peaceful coexistence.

  • External social influences stigmatise people from various race, ethnic and religion. Rather than evaluating, we should understand the concept of Tolerance without any prejudice as it limits our ability to assess, create and develop further.

  • Employment of Minority groups in different race /ethnic /religion to be fulfilled minimum by 20% according to the relevant country.
